Why We Built SimpleTools.one: The SuperML Story
SimpleTools.one didn't come out of nowhere. It was built by the team at SuperML.dev and SuperML.org — people who spend every day working with ML practitioners, developers, and AI researchers.
The Origin Story
SimpleTools.one didn’t come out of nowhere. It was built by the team at SuperML.dev and SuperML.org — people who spend every day working with ML practitioners, developers, and AI researchers.
When you teach AI for a living, you notice something quickly: the tools people use around their ML work — compressing images, converting PDFs, formatting JSON — are often clunky, ad-laden, or require uploading files to unknown servers. That bothered us. A lot.
So we built SimpleTools.one: a suite of fast, privacy-first utilities that run entirely in your browser. No uploads. No accounts. No tracking.
Who Is SuperML?
SuperML.dev is our primary publication for deep, practical content on the AI/ML stack:
- Agentic AI & LLMs — How enterprise teams are deploying real agents, not demos
- LangChain mastery series — From introduction to advanced production patterns
- Architecture deep-dives — NL-to-SQL, RAG systems, vector databases, context windows
- Finance AI — How banks, hedge funds, and fintechs are deploying AI in production
- Weekly AI trends — What actually matters in the firehose of announcements
Some of our most-read pieces include:
- Your 1M-Token Context Window Is a Lie — The real math behind context planning for RAG and agents
- LangChain Agents: Tool-Augmented Reasoning with LLMs — What agents actually are and when to use them
- CommBank’s Fraud Agent Now Writes Its Own Detection Rules — A real-world case study in agentic AI
- How to Build an Agentic Stock Analyst with LangChain and YFinance — End-to-end walkthrough
SuperML.org is our structured learning platform — courses built for people who want to go deep, not just sample:
- Machine Learning Foundations — Data science basics, supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning intro
- Ontology Builder: From Concepts to Full Implementation — The semantic layer that powers enterprise AI
- Forward Deploy Engineering — Discover, prototype, deploy, measure, iterate — the FDE rhythm
- Claude Certified Architect Prep — Prompt engineering, agents, safety & deployment
Why Tools?
The ML practitioners using SuperML are power users. They’re comfortable with transformers and LangChain but still need to:
- Quickly compress a batch of images before a presentation
- Convert a client’s CSV to JSON without pasting it into an online converter
- Generate a QR code for a demo
- Split a 200-page PDF to extract the relevant section
We kept using clunky third-party tools for these tasks. Eventually we asked: why don’t we just build these ourselves, the right way?
The right way means:
- Everything runs client-side — your files never leave your device
- No cookies, no trackers, no analytics on your input
- Fast, offline-capable, mobile-friendly
- Designed by developers, for developers and ML practitioners
SimpleTools Is Just the Beginning
We’re continuing to add tools based on what the SuperML community needs. If there’s a utility you’d love to see — drop us a note.
In the meantime, explore what we’ve built:
- PDF Tools: Merge PDFs, Split PDFs, Compress PDFs, Rotate PDFs
- Image Tools: Compress Images, Remove Background, Convert Images
- Developer Utilities: JSON Formatter, Base64 Encoder/Decoder, Hash Generator, Regex Tester
